It’s like the age old question: what came first, the chicken or the egg? 😅

If you’re anything like me, you’ll have this love hate relationship with social media (probably slightly skewed towards hating it 😂)

And now, after speaking with my clients, listening to the troubles of my women’s networking group, podcasts etc

I realise that I’m not alone when it comes to the stresses of the constant grind of social media.

Sadly, it is one of those must dos to remain relevant and on peoples feeds.

But! ✋ I still whole heartedly believe that having alternative content that is yours alone such as a personalised website, blog articles or a podcast will always be beneficial for you long term.

But I procrastinated SOOOO MUCH before I built it.

Oh how wrong I was 😅

Ok, so I’m being a teeny bit facetious but people make it out to be that easy when we know it’s not!

One of the many reasons why I *try* not to get caught up in views, likes etc etc and use other ways of getting my message out there such as…

I never wanted to admit that I was trying to grow this business while working a full time job.

I thought it would put people off working with me.

But I’ve learned how to manage my time around my shifts, and my client work always comes before my own, much to my coach’s annoyance 🤣 @sherilyncarter

I realised that we’re all trying to build something around something else, whether that’s family responsibilities, social commitments, work, staying healthy etc etc

Just know that there’s always support out there.

We can lean on others to help us through the challenges.

And more importantly, celebrate the wins, despite the obstacles we face 🥰
